Deputy Commissioner of Police, Rusiate Tudravu has raised serious concern on complaints that they have received against some Police Prosecutors.

Tudravu highlighted this while speaking at the graduation ceremony of 28 Police Prosecutors from the Advanced Prosecution Course.

Tudravu told the new Police Prosecutors to keep themselves from unlawful acts which can cost them, their job.

Tudravu also told the officers that the Court is neutral and prosecutors cannot be seen leaning over to one side favoring prosecution because of the lack of knowledge of some police officers.

He says that he is very concerned about cases that are acquitted which has affected their key performance indicator.

He also reminded the officers of the importance of preparing a case on time as it may have an adverse result.

The graduating officers had come from prosecution offices around the country.
