Former England international Ben Gollings has today confirmed that he has applied for the Fiji men’s 7s coach’s position.
Gollings confirmed this to ABC Pacific Beat after playing for Daveta in the Central Coast 7s over the weekend.
Gollings is a former coach of the Chinese women’s team.
He says he now wants to coach a men’s team in the World 7s series.
Gollings had also applied for the Canada 7s coach’s job however that has been taken up by former Samoa 7s coach, Damien McGrath.
The Fiji Rugby Union had earlier said that they were going through the interview process before announcing the new coach.
