Zoe Maharaj Moore who is charged for possessing illicit drugs appeared in the Suva Magistrates Court this morning for allegedly absconding bail.
She is charged with a count of absconding bail after she failed to appear in court on the 2nd of this month.
Moore has been granted bail.
Moore and former Suva lawyer Shazran Abdul Lateef are charged with one count each of being found in possession of 7.89 grams of methamphetamine, one count each of being found in possession of 12.49 grams of cocaine and one count each of being found in possession of 2.5 grams of marijuana.
Magistrate, Jioji Boseiwaqa has ordered that the sureties have to ensure that Moore does not reoffend while on bail and tell the court the reason for not coming to court if she fails to be present in court again.
The case has been adjourned to the 30th of January.
