“No matter what people say, they might say you can’t do something and not encourage you but you are your biggest supporter so believe in yourself.”

Well‑known Bollywood actress, Ileana D'Cruz stressed this to the students of Rampur Primary School today.

D'Cruz was appointed Tourism Fiji's brand ambassador for the Indian market in 2017.

D’Cruz is in Fiji to explore various activities and showcase more of the country’s unique offerings to potential travellers from India.

She told the students that people will tell them that they will not be able to do something or they will not get encouraged but students should be their biggest supporter.

Minister for Industry, Trade and Tourism Faiyaz Koya also  officiated at the visitation of Ileana D'Cruz at Rampur Primary School.

He says one of the reasons why she is Fiji’s brand ambassador is because they know for a fact that D’Cruz actually feels very much at home when she comes to Fiji and she talks about Fiji when she is overseas.

Koya says following her successful travelogue that was filmed in Fiji last year, D’Cruz continuously promoted Fiji on the social media channels and she has about eight million followers worldwide.

She is in Fiji to explore different regions such as Nadi, the Coral Coast, the Mamanuca Islands, Pacific Harbour and Savusavu and her experience here will showcase Fiji to the rest of the world as a destination.
