The President of the Fiji Dental Health Association, Dr. Vikash Singh

The President of the Fiji Dental Health Association, Dr. Vikash Singh has raised concerns that there is no National Oral Health Survey done since 2004 to determine the state of Oral Health in Fiji.

Singh says that dental diseases are one of the most common diseases amongst Fijians.

He says that it is difficult to plan the delivery of Oral Health Care without any data.

Singh says that an Oral Health Survey needs to be done immediately in order to determine how severe the oral health problems in Fiji are and where the priorities should be focused on.
