A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Energy Fiji Limited and the Fiji National Provident Fund that will promote information sharing for compliance purposes which will benefit FNPF members.
Through this MOU, Energy Fiji Limited will provide FNPF with employment data from employers captured from its data collection system.
FNPF Chief Executive Officer, Jaoji Koroi says their team has identified common areas where they can partner with organisations to ensure that stakeholders are compliant to FNPF's requirement.
Koroi says this partnership is a positive development for FNPF members because it ensures that their funds are being paid on a timely manner in their accounts.
EFL Chief Executive Officer, Hasmukh Patel says they are proud in assisting FNPF by ensuring that EFL only hires the services of those companies who are FNPF complaint.
Patel says under this MOU, EFL affiliates, preferred suppliers, principal suppliers, principal contractors and sub-contractors will be required to submit their FNPF Compliance Letters once they have registered with EFL's Data Collection System.
