The case where FBC and it’s CEO have sued the Fiji Labour Party for defamation has been adjourned to the 4th of February next year.
The case was called before Acting Court Master Vandana Lal today.
This law suit is about an online post made on the Fiji Labour Party Facebook page.
It alleged that a facebook post by FLP claimed that FBC was unable to service its loan of about $21million and that the Chief Executive Officer of FBC had to turn to the Attorney General to bail him out of the mess and the taxpayers got butchered in the process, as an easy way was found to settle the matter.
Representative law firms from both parties were present in court today.
