53 students from 3 villages in Kia Island to benefit from new library at Kia District School

53 students from three villages in Kia Island will now benefit from a new library worth $60,000 at the Kia District School.

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama while opening the new library says nothing made him prouder than watching the transformative journey of the Fijian education system.

Bainimarama says today we have more children in school than ever, including record numbers of girls in classrooms.

He says when you open a book, you open an entire world of knowledge.

Bainimarama adds that every new word you learn, every new story you encounter and every new subject you explore expands your minds and makes you better and brighter young Fijians.
