A significant Tropical Disturbance currently lies to the far west of Fiji and is expected to move towards Fiji and may gradually intensify into a Tropical Depression and affect the group from tonight.
This is expected to bring heavy rain from tonight.
A heavy rain warning remains in force for Yasawa and Mamanuca Group, Northern and Western Viti Levu, Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, Lomaiviti and Lau Group.
A strong wind warning also remains in force for land areas of Yasawa and Mamanuca Group, Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands and Northern Lau Group.
Localised heavy rain may lead to flash flooding of low lying areas.
A heavy rain alert remains in force for the rest of Fiji and a flood alert also remains in force for the low lying areas and small streams of Vanua Levu, Northern and Western parts of Viti Levu.
