People are urged to take necessary precautions as two weather systems will bring heavy rain in many parts of the country until next week and the second system could become a tropical depression.
In an update earlier this morning, the Nadi Weather Office says a heavy rain warning remains in force for Viti Levu, Vanua Levu, Yasawa, Mamanuca, Lau and Lomaiviti Group.
Office Director, Ravin Kumar says the current trough of low pressure with associated cloud remains slow moving over the Fiji group.
Expect heavy rain and thunderstorms.
Flash flooding is likely in low lying areas.
The second low pressure system is expected to develop to the West of Fiji on Sunday.
The second system is likely to become a tropical disturbance and then a depression as it moves South East towards Fiji from early next week and passing west of Viti Levu.
Expect more heavy rain and flash flooding.
