The Ministry of Health is referring the issue of the alleged drink spiking incident at the Warwick Resort in December, to the Ministry of Tourism.

When asked by fijivillage News on whether an investigation and tests have been conducted to establish what caused the tourists to get ill on the 14th of December last year, the Ministry of Health said we have to speak to the Tourism Ministry.

Methanol was ruled out after the tests last month.

fijivillage News is also trying to confirm if the drinks were allegedly spiked as stated in a Ministry of Health release on the 15th of December last year.

Spiking drinks suggests that someone intentionally put a chemical into a person’s drink without their knowledge or permission.
