Water has been restored for thousands of residents in Lami,Tamavua and Samabula this morning.
Concerned residents called fijivillage News and confirmed that water has been restored this morning.
The Water Authority of Fiji says the water disruptions are due to persistent adverse weather conditions and heavy rainfall, which have caused flooding and extremely high raw water turbidity at the main sources for the Tamavua system and the Waimanu raw water pumping station and Head-works three.
WAF says these conditions are affecting the treatment process and water production at the Tamavua Water Treatment Plant.
They say the prolonged nature of these events has further impacted water production and reservoir levels, leading to extended water disruptions.
