Thousands of residents in Viseisei Back Road, Lautoka, are calling on Authorities for answers as they have been without water since Thursday.
Speaking to fijivillage News, a concerned resident says the water pressure was low on Thursday, and they had no water throughout the night, as well as Friday.
He says the supply gets restored for only two or three hours early in the mornings, from 2am to 4am, but the water is dirty, and the pressure is too high, which damages their pipes.
He also says there was no notice of water cuts from the Water Authority of Fiji and they have sent them several complaints regarding this matter.
He says water carting trucks have been going around supplying water to other areas since Saturday but have not supplied water to their area, citing poor road conditions that make it difficult for trucks to enter.
He adds most people in the area have to go to work or attend the Ram Navami festivals but are unable to even shower due to the lack of water.
We have raised this issue with the Water Authority of Fiji, and they are looking into it.
The WAF team has also visited the area and is arranging water carting trucks for the community.
