People living in Sakoca's new subdivision in Tacirua are raising concerns as water disruptions continue and this has affected their daily living.

President of the Sakoca Crime Committee, Sunil Prasad says since last weekend, they have been digging deep into their pockets and have spent more to buy bottles of water for daily consumption and to bathe their children.

Prasad says they have raised their concerns with the Water Authority of Fiji and have requested water carting, but thishas not been provided.

He says many of the residents in their area had followed WAF's instructions by calling 5777 if water carts are needed, but they have been provided with the opposite response from their customer care services.

While responding to the questions sent, WAF says due to low production levels, customers living in Tacirua, Sakoca, Khalsa, Colo-i-Suva, Tamavua and nearby areas will be experiencing a disruption in their water supply. They say they are working towards rectifying the issue as soon as possible and will need everyone's patience and understanding during this time.
