People’s Alliance Deputy Leaders Lynda Tabuya and Dan Lobendahn charged with vote buying and breach of campaign rules

The Deputy Leaders of People's Alliance, Lynda Tabuya and Dan Lobendahn have been charged with two counts each of prohibition of vote buying and breach of campaign rules.

Tabuya is represented by Adish Narayan while Lobendahn is represented by Karl Jamnadas.

They have been granted bail.

The Suva Magistrates Court has ordered Tabuya and Lobendahn to surrender all their travel documents, and to report to their nearest police station every last Friday of the month commencing in January 2023.

They are also ordered not to change their address and not to interfere with witnesses.

The case has been adjourned to 10th February, 2023 at the Nasinu Magistrates Court.

Meanwhile, a huge crowd of People's Alliance supporters and candidates turned up to the Suva Courthouse.

People's Alliance Leader Sitiveni Rabuka, Deputy Party Leader Manoa Kamikamica, Keni Dakuidreketi, former WAF CEO Opetaia Ravai, supporters and family members were at the courthouse.
