If we do not take action, if everybody doesn't combine to take action, then slowly, our schools are becoming a place for drug peddling.
School Management Association President Govind Singh highlighted this to fijivillage News 0saying they will also be re-looking at the school drug policy.
Singh says slowly, they are losing grip on this matter.
He says they want to work with the Ministry of Education on drug policies.
The Association President also wants to work with parents on drug-related issues.
Singh says they also want to have access to teachers who may not be performing up to standard.
He says they need to question why some are under-performing.
The Association President says they need to know, because they have not built a school for under-performance.
He says they have not built a school where they can just get by with mediocre people.
Singh says mediocre people means mediocre results, and that could mean, children are losing out.
He says they are fighting for quality education for everybody, not that some people will be left out.
