Pita Simpson hands them over to Police

Concerns have been raised after hundreds of syringes and needles were found along Rifle Range in Vatuwaqa.

Pita Simpson, who lives close by says his brother had discovered it when he was out walking their dog yesterday afternoon.

Simpson says he gathered his camera and went out to document the scene at after 8 last night.

He says the syringes and needles were still in sealed packs.

He says after seeing the amount of syringes and needles on the beach he decided to call Nabua Police Station.

Simpson says the police turned up and collected them last night but he found more had washed up this morning.
