Former President, Ratu Wiliame Katonivere will give evidence to the Commission of Inquiry tomorrow regarding the appointment of the FICAC Commissioner Barbara Malimali.

Senior Legal Counsel, Janet Mason has confirmed this and says that he will be there in person.

When asked by fijivillage News if there would be a session on Sunday, Mason says they will have a session on Saturday where three witnesses will be appearing.

She says they will start at 9.30am.

The Senior Legal Counsel says that sometimes the witness will take a lot more time than they estimate.

The Commissioner of Inquiry and Supreme Court Judge Justice, David Ashton Lewis says the session today was good.

Lewis says most times people do good in court and very rarely do they find liars however, occasionally there maybe liars.

When asked if there's any suspicion of lies in the inquiry, Lewis responded that there is no suspicion of lies so far.

He has also requested journalists to report accurately as one of the papers reported that he said that he would not accept 'yes and no ' answers.

The Judge says he did not say that and asked that if there's any confusion, he is willing to clear that.

He adds that sometimes a yes or no answer would be sufficient.

The session will continue at 2.30 this afternoon.

The media is now restricted to certain parts of the complex.
