An 86 percent pass rate has been recorded after the Fiji Year 13 Exam results were released today compared to 91 percent in 2023.
8,603 students sat for the Year 13 exam this year.
Minister for Education, Aseri Radrodro says the provisional results has been released online and can be accessed through the link www.examresults.gov.fj.
Radrodro says all Year 13 students can use their Examination Code Number and personal credentials to access their results.
He says however, students who do not have internet access can obtain the results from their respective schools or District Education Office.
The Minister further says students who wish to apply for a recount or a remark can submit an application at the Examinations and Assessment Office at Gohil Building or at their nearest District Education Office.
He says the 30 days Provisional Period will allow students to apply for a recount or a remark.
Radrodro says students applying for scholarships and loan with the Tertiary Scholarships and Loans Service can upload their results onto their accounts.
He encourages and urges all parents and guardians to engage in open conversations with their children about their results.
The Minister says it is essential for students to feel supported as they consider their next steps, whether that involves pursuing higher education, vocational training, or entering the workforce.
He also acknowledged all teachers, students and parents for their hard work which is evident in the results and looks forward to their continued support.
Radrodro also highlighted that students continuing their educational journey in schools and in tertiary institutes should stay focused in achieving their academic goals and perform to the best of their ability.
