Forty children with the youngest at 6 months old at Dilkusha Home were treated to a special Fiji Day breakfast this morning by the Hospitality and Culinary students of USP, Pacific TAFE.
The students of Hospitality and Culinary students of USP, Pacific TAFE had stayed up all night preparing the food to ensure these children were not left out from celebrating Fiji Day.
The Head of Dilkusha Home Deaconess Leba Laveti says the children were up early this morning as looking forward to the visit.
USP’s Head of College of Business, Tourism and Hospitality Hamish McCracken says these children are the future of our nation and should not be forgotten.
The students and staff from the USP’s school of Hospitality and Culinary had also provided a special Fiji Day breakfast for 29 children at Saint Christopher’s Children’s Home.
