Triptii Dimri who has gained widespread recognition with her impactful role in the blockbuster movie Animal alongside Ranbir Kapoor has been signed opposite Kartik Aaryan for Aashiqui 3.

Dimri’s significant role opposite Kapoor showcased her acting prowess and set a new benchmark in her career.

The search for the female lead in Aashiqui 3 had been a subject of much speculation, and Dimri’s selection brings an end to the anticipation.

Aashiqui, the first film in the franchise, released in 1990, featuring newcomers Rahul Roy and Anu Agarwal, and became an unexpected musical hit. The success continued with Aashiqui 2 in 2013, directed by Mohit Suri, starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor.
