New Caledonia Trade & Invest in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce of New Caledonia, is organising a trade mission to Fiji, bringing a total of 7 companies.

In a statement, the French Embassy says, the trade mission will be focused on the participation to the HOTEC tradeshow, dedicated to the hotel industry suppliers.

They say the delegation will be in Fiji tomorrow until the 31st of this month, participating in B-to-B meetings, institutional meetings and exposing at the HOTEC tradeshow.

French Embassy says participants are expecting to understand how to do business in Fiji through meetings with institutions and most importantly meet potential clients and partners to develop their activities in Fiji.

They further say some of the participants have experiences in Fiji and are in the process to open a subsidiary, while some are still exploring and visiting for the first time.

Pacific Plastic Profile, Epureau, CEA, Syrius Solar Industry, Solar NC, Metalco and Vergnet Pacific will participate in the tradeshow.

French Ambassador to Fiji, Julie Le Saos says Fiji is a tourism hotspot in the region and has so much potential to grow, it is a large delegation in terms of the number of companies from New Caledonia that are going to part of the largest hospitality tradeshow event in Fiji.

Saos says this event will provide the New Caledonia companies to showcase their brands, expand their network and offer best sustainable tourism practices and solutions to the needs of the tourism sector in Fiji.

She says with tourism being the biggest contributor to Fiji’s economy, this platform will provide potential opportunity for these businesses to be part of something special and increase the French business footprint in the country.

The Tradeshow will be held at Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort, Nadi on Friday and Saturday.
