Rise Beyond the Reef, a Non Government Organisation, that connects rural women artisans to international markets through their innovative online shops has opened in Port Denarau, Nadi.

While officiating the new store, Minister for Women, Children and Social Protection, Lynda Tabuya commended Rise Beyond the Reef for their significant contribution to empowering rural women and enhancing income generation opportunities.

Tabuya says such initiatives are crucial in fostering economic independence and improving the livelihoods of women in rural communities.

She adds this platform is a lifeline for many rural women artisans who possess incredible talent and creativity.

The new store is expected to further enhance the visibility of these artisans and provide them with greater access to customers worldwide, thereby promoting sustainable economic growth.
