The Bank South Pacific Financial Group Limited (BSP) has launched a cash deposit ATM, providing valuable access to another self-help banking service. BSP Country Head, Haroon Ali says this self-help cash deposit ATM is operational 24/7 and enables BSP and other bank customers to deposit funds into any valid and active BSP deposit account.

Another valuable feature is that funds are credited instantly to the recipient’s account.

Ali says the BSP group are excited to deliver this fee free service for those who prefer to avoid visiting the branch for cash deposit transactions.

The transaction can be completed with or without a BSP debit card as long as an active receiving BSP deposit account number is entered.

The bank has implemented transaction limits for deposits that will mitigate any risks for such a service.

Ali says this Cash Deposit ATM accepts all Fiji currency notes (i.e. $5, $7, $10, $20, $50 and $100) with security processes deployed to protect customers.

These include limits to the number of Fiji currency notes accepted per deposit made and daily transaction value limits.

It is important for customers to enter the correct account number to ensure that funds reach their intended recipients.

Ali says the depositor is encouraged to enter a narration that enables easy and convenient tracking for recipients.

This cash deposit ATM takes the BSP ATM fleet to 122 and is the first terminal to accept cash deposits.
