Having been in the fashion industry for more than 20 years and her 3rd year showcasing at the Fiji Fashion Week, Fashion Designers Alliance of Fiji Chairperson and Director of The Haus of Koila, Adi Koila Ganilau Lee is ready to storm tonight’s runway with her "Rikolee Collection".

Ganilau Lee says she has been drawing from a very young age and first started showing for different fashion shows back in the day before taking a break and has recently harnessed her own entrepreneur drive back to establishing a collaboration with her children that is now known as The Haus of Koila.

She adds that over the years the show has produced and showcased some of the most outstanding and extraordinary talented designers.

Ganilau Lee has also highlighted that Fiji Fashion Week is for anyone including mothers at home, students, anyone who is unemployed and has a creative talent.

She stressed that there is still some stigma that portrays fashion designers as social butterflies, high rollers and lime light addicts and has asked that people interpret the designers’ work from an artistic angle, realizing that this is a profession that puts food on many Fijian families tables.

Fiji Fashion Week Resort Luxe Show will begin at 7.30pm tonight.
