Young netball rep ready to make family proud

“I am ready to make my family proud.”

Those were the words of Vani Loloma, one of the Fiji Under 13 netball reps, who is part of the team touring New Zealand for the Pasifika Netball Challenge Tournament this weekend.

Loloma said that her dream of becoming a national rep has come true and has thanked her family back in Natuvu, Wailevu West, Cakaudrove, for their support.

Meanwhile, Vice President of Fiji Primary Schools Netball Elenoa Vadei said that they have prepared well for the trip and are all looking forward to it.

Vadei said that a total of 30 Under 13 players will be traveling as they will be fielding three teams in the tournament.

The Fiji Under 13 netball side will leave our shores at 10am Saturday and will be back on the 13th of this month.
