Fiji Airways Men’s National 7's forward Jasa Veremalua says winning the Las Vegas 7's next weekend will be very special as it will be the perfect gift for his daughter who turns a year old next month.
Born and raised in Korotogo Nadroga, Veremalua says he is excited than ever before to wear the national jersey as he now has his wife and daughter in front of the TV whenever he runs onto the field.
Veremalua says training is getting more tough now as new players are pushing hard for a spot.
The Fiji 7's team left for Las Vegas last night.
Fiji will play Russia in their first pool match of the Las Vegas 7s at 12.06pm next Saturday and we take on France at 3.07pm next Saturday. Fiji then play their final pool match against Kenya at 8.36am Sunday.
The Cup quarters start at 1.26pm next Sunday, the Cup semis will be held at 9.12am on Monday 5th March while the Cup final will kick off at 12.30pm Monday.
