Whitelock prepared for a bruising battle with Coleman and Arnold

All Blacks lock Sam Whitelock is aware but not alarmed at the threat posed by rising Wallabies locks Adam Coleman and Rory Arnold.

After mixing and matching different locks for two years, Wallabies coach Michael Cheika appears to have found a duo that meet his demand for physicality and ball‑carrying combined with the necessary set‑piece skills.

Coleman had proved himself last year that he is more than ready to get in the faces of Whitelock and his lock partner Brodie Retallick who have reigned supreme in recent times.

Whitelock says he is prepared for a bruising battle with Coleman and Arnold in Saturday’s Bledisloe Cup opener.

The All Blacks will take on the Wallabies at 10pm this Saturday.
