The prestigious William Webb Ellis Trophy made its fourth stop of the Rugby World Cup world tour at the Fiji Rugby Union office this morning.
Fiji Rugby Union CEO, John O’Connor says that this visit was perfect timing as the Flying Fijians are preparing for the June Test series.
O’Connor adds that this also serves as a morale booster and a reminder to players that the 2019 Rugby World Cup is just around the corner.
Flying Fijians flanker Mosese Voka says having the Webb Ellis Trophy on our shores serves as a reminder of what is at stake in Japan.
He adds that the challenge will be tough coming down to selection of the final team to Japan between the local and overseas based players vying for a spot.
Meanwhile the Webb Ellis Cup also visited Marist Brothers High School today and will be at St Marcellin Primary School at 10am tomorrow where the Vodafone Fiji Kaji Rugby Tournament will be launched.
The Fiji 7s players will also be at this event.
