Fiji Airways Flying Fijians coach John McKee says they will have to work hard in defence when the play Japan in the first World Rugby Pacific Nations Cup.
McKee says they expect Japan to play a very up tempo game and they will look to dominate the physical collisions against Japan.
He says the players who remained in Fiji last week underwent specific physical conditioning so he expects them to come fitter and fresh this week.
Top players like Dominiko Waqaniburotu, Ben Volavola, Frank Lomani, Semi Kunatani, Leone Nakarawa, Viliame Mata, Alivereti Veitokani, Peceli Yato and Filipo Nakosi are expected to feature for Fiji.
Fiji will take on Japan at the Kamaishi Recovery Memorial Stadium at 5.50pm Saturday.
