Fiji National Rugby League hopes to sort out the Vodafone Fiji Bati allowance payments by Friday.
The Vodafone Fiji Bati side have yet to receive allowances from the Rugby League World Cup which ended early December last year.
FNRL Board Chairman Filimoni Vosarogo says that the board accepts full responsibility for the delay in payments to players and officials and hopes to have things sorted by Friday.
Vosarogo says that payments from the World Cup does not come to the FNRL bank account but goes right to the NRL where it will be distributed to players.
He adds that no funds come to the FNRL at all.
Vosarogo says that he had sent an approval for payment on the 11th of December last year and a reminder nine days later.
Vosarogo adds that the FNRL board is working to ensure that payment will be made on the first week of January and they will liaise with the Rugby League Accounts personnel to see what may have caused the delay.
