Defending champion of the Fiji Bitter Marist 7's, Wardens Gold  is aiming to win their seventh Marist 7's title as the tournament kicks off tomorrow.

Wardens won their first Marist 7's title in 1991 when they defeated Saunaka 14-4 in the final.

The Wardens also won the Marist title in 1995, 2002, 2008, 2010 and last year.

Manager of the Wardens Gold team Malakai Cakau has called on Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan to look out for his players during the tournament.

Cakau believes that he has players that can make it into the Fiji 7s team.

Wardens will be testing out their best combination in their first match against Fire tomorrow.

Cakau says the players to look out for include lanky Sakiyasi Kaikaivalu, playmaker Kitione Taliga, former Fiji 7s rep Niko Verekauta, former Sila Central High School sprinter Waisake Raselala and captain Sakiusa Nadruku.

The Fiji Bitter Marist 7's kicks off tomorrow at the ANZ Stadium with the first game to be played between defending champion Wardens Gold and Fire at 8am.

The main cup winner will be walking away with $10,000.
