The NSW Waratahs will play South African conference winners the Lions in their Super Rugby semifinal in Johannesburg next weekend.
The Tahs earned a last four spot last night with a 30‑23 home win over the Highlanders in Sydney, where they scored 24 unanswered points to overturn a 23‑6 halftime deficit.
The Lions scored a 40‑23 win over Argentina's Jaguares at Ellis Park this morning to secure home advantage for the semifinal.
Losing finalists for the last two years, the Lions beat the Waratahs 29‑0 in Sydney back in April.
The other semifinal will be an all‑New Zealand contest between the defending champion Crusaders and the Hurricanes, in Christchurch.
The Crusaders will meet the Hurricanes at 7.35pm next Saturday in Christchurch while the Lions will face the Waratahs at 1.05am next Sunday in Johannesburg.
