The NSW Waratahs were booed off Allianz Stadium after slumping to a humiliating 26‑24 home loss to Super Rugby's hapless Southern Kings.
Plumbing new depths, the Waratahs lamely surrendered a 17‑0 lead with a listless display in front of exasperated fans on last night.
Meanwhile, eight converted tries from the Hurricanes ensured a comprehensive 56‑21 win over the Brumbies in Hamilton last night.
Outside centre Vince Aso finished with a hat‑trick to move clear at the top of the standings as the Hurricanes came from behind at half‑time to register an emphatic victory.
In another match, the Lions defeated the Jaguares 24-21.
The Highlanders will meet the Sunwolves at 5.15 this afternoon, the Crusaders will take on the Stormers at 7.35 tonight while the Force will play the Chiefs at 11.45pm.
