Team Fiji Mens soccer mid-fielder, Tevita Waranivalu is calling on the nation to support them and the entire Team Fiji at the Rio Olympics.
Waranivalu who plays for Rewa in the local soccer competition said they need the prayers of the nation as they cannot do this on their own.
Waranivalu said he started playing soccer when he was in class four at Nasinu Sangam School.
He then played in the Nasinu Muslim College Under 17 team before representing Saraswati College in the Under 19 team.
He added that there is not much pressure as they are focussing on their game plans.
Waranivalu said Roy Krishna is his favourite player in Fiji and is a role model.
Fiji will play its first ever soccer match in the Olympics this Friday against Korea Republic at 11am.
