Balesio Waqadau of Natabua High School has broken his own triple jump record which he set last year at the Lautoka Athletics Zone.
Waqadau broke his Senior Boys Triple Jump record with a jump of 14.83 metres this morning at Churchill Park.
His old record was 14.16 meters.
Meanwhile, Isikeli Waseaqali also from Natabua won the Senior Boys 800m final this morning.
Waseaqali who also won the senior boys 1,500m yesterday will be running again in the Senior Boys 4x400m relay final this afternoon.
Natabua High School is leading in the Boys Division medal tally with 24 gold, 13 silver and 2 bronze while Tilak High School is in second place with 2 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze.
Lautoka Muslim College is in third place with 1 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze.
Jasper Williams High School is leading in the Girls Division with 21 gold, 14 silver and 12 bronze.
Natabua is in second place with 2 gold and 3 silver and 3 bronze while St. Thomas High School is in third place with 1 gold and 2 silver.
