World Rugby's latest rankings will be revealed later today and the Wallabies are expected to drop to their lowest World Rugby ranking.
The 23‑19 defeat to Argentina on Saturday night will see Australia fall to seventh place in the latest world standings, with South Africa's stunning Wellington win seeing them rise from sixth to fifth.
Scotland will bridge the gap in between the two Southern Hemisphere sides in sixth spot.
Since the rankings' inception in 2003, the Wallabies have never dropped below sixth spot, although having won just two of their last nine games, things could be about to get a whole lot worse for Michael Cheika's men.
The Wallabies will take on the Springboks at 3.05am on the 30th of this month while the All Blacks will take on Argentina at 10.40am on the 30th of this month.
