Fiji born, Storm winger, Suliasi Vunivalu scored a try to help his side come from behind to beat the Broncos 32-16 last night.
Cameron Smith finished the day with 246 kicking metres and 50 tackles.
The Storm trailed 12‑8 at halftime but powered home via tries to Cameron Munster, Felise Kaufusi, Suliasi Vunivalu and Jahrome Hughes.
The Broncos had a chance to snatch the game late ‑ trailing by four points with 15 minutes to play ‑ but some ill‑discipline and fast‑finishing by the Storm proved too much for the Wayne Bennett‑coached side.
In another match played last night, the Sharks defeated the Wests Tigers 24-16.
Tonight the Bulldogs will face the Dragons at 6pm.
