Fiji born Melbourne Storm wing Suliasi Vunivalu is poised to get the Top Try Scorer of the Year Award at the 2016 Dally M Awards this Wednesday.
Vunivalu has scored 23 tries in his debut season with Melbourne Storm this year.
He is also included in the list of names being considered for the Winger of the Year Award.
Parramatta Eels player Semi Radradra was the Winger and Top Try Scorer of the Year last year.
Jarryd Hayne won the Dally M Medal in 2014.
Cooper Cronk, Josh Hodgson, Cameron Smith and James Taumalolo are in the hunt to win the Dally M Medal Award.
The Dally M Medal is the official player of the year award in the NRL.
Meanwhile, three players with links to Fiji will play in the NRL Grand Final this Sunday.
They are Melbourne Storm’s Suliasi Vunivalu and Marika Koroibete and Cronulla Sharks forward Jayson Bukuya.
The 2016 NRL Grand Final between Melbourne Storm and Cronulla Sharks will kick off at 8.15pm this Sunday.
