The Vodafone Flying Fijians received a major boost ahead of their Northern Europe tour after the Fiji Sports Commission donated $324,836 towards their preparation.
FRU Chief Executive Officer Radrodro Tabualevu said the assistance shows the continuous support of the commission towards the development of rugby in the country.
Tabualevu added the money will be used to assist the team with their preparation as they are hoping the players will be able to deliver for their fans back at home.
Meanwhile, FRU has also confirmed that hooker Viliame Veikoso will not able to travel with the team because of visa issues.
Tabualevu said coach John McKee has already organized a replacement player and it is highly likely to be veteran Sunia Koto.
The Vodafone Flying Fijians will play France on the 9th of next month followed by games against Wales on the 16th and USA on the 22nd.
