Speedster, Samisoni Viriviri will arrive in the country on Wednesday after failing to lodge his USA visa on time for his transit flight to Fiji.
Vodafone Fiji 7's coach Ben Ryan confirmed to Fijivillage that Viriviri will be transiting through Hong Kong before joining the team.
Ryan added that Isake Katonibau and Jerry Tuwai should be fine next week.
Meanwhile Benito Masilevu was unable to recover from a shoulder injury he sustained against Clermont earlier this month and will not be fit for the New Zealand 7s.
Ryan said 18 players will be in camp this week before the final twelve are announced on Friday.
The New Zealand 7s will be held next Friday and Saturday.
Fiji is pooled with Australia, Wales and Portugal.
