VPL season to end by August - Patel

Fiji Football Association President Rajesh Patel says the 2017 Vodafone Premier League will end by August 20th after a successful National League Board meeting.

Patel says all the district officials have seen and agreed with the revised fixtures and they are confident to finish the Vodafone Premier League on time.

He says they wanted to finish the league on schedule to give more time for the Vodafone Fiji national team to prepare for the Indonesia tour.

He adds since the new Fiji Football season starts in October they would like finish to everything for this season.

Labasa will play Suva at 7.30 tonight at Ratu Cakobau Park while Labasa will play Rewa at 3pm Sunday at the same venue.
