All Blacks legend, Tana Umaga met with New South Wales Blues players at a secret training session ahead of the State of Origin One tomorrow, after the side was granted special access to the match venue.
Umaga who is in Sydney to meet with Sonny Bill Williams agent about bringing the dual international to his Super Rugby Blues was invited by coach Laurie Daley to watch the session on Sunday night and speak to the players.
State of Origin teams have traditionally been given one training session at the venue for their captain's run the day before the game, however the Blues were granted special access to Sydney's ANZ Stadium for what was the first of two hit‑outs before tomorrow's series opener.
The Blues will host the Maroons at 10pm tomorrow.
