Former Marist Brothers High School and Fiji U18 prop Kaliopasi Uluilakepa is being praised for showcasing humility and kindness at the World Rugby U20 Championship.
Uluilakepa who is now part of the New Zealand U20 team had a young boy accompany him during the national anthem before realizing that another young boy did not have any player accompany.
The 20-year-old then quickly grabbed the young boy that was standing alone to stand with them during the national anthem.

This had the boy’s family visiting Uluilakepa and personally thanking him for making their son feel special at that moment.

While sharing some highlights, Uluilakepa says that he struggled from getting from point A to B especially to training and many times he would have to be two hours early to training because of traffic and the timing of buses.
With Wellington being a windy and cold place during the winter, Uluilakepa says that most nights after training with the Wellington U19 team, he would catch the bus at 8pm and reach home around 10.30 to 11 depending on traffic.
Last year, the Hurricanes signed Uluilakepa on a Player Replacement Contract which enabled him to buy a new car.
The former Coke Games shot put record holder says that he had always wanted to get a car and this motivated him to train harder to improve his performance.
Meanwhile, the New Zealand U20 team finished 4th at the World Rugby U20 Championship after losing to South Africa 42-30 in the Bronze Final this morning.
Meanwhile France won their first ever U20 Championship Title after defeating England 33-25 in the final.
