Two records have so far been broken in the Lautoka/Yasawa Zone.
Tiko Batibasaga of Natabua has set a new record in the Senior Boys Shot put with a distance of 13.92 metres.
The old record was 13.59 metres and was set in 1997.
The second record was broken by Jasper’s Adi Ulamila Matevakatini in the Senior Girls Triple Jump with a jump of 11.12 meters.
The previous record was 11.02 metres.
Meanwhile, Natabua High School leads the Boys division with 14 gold, 7 silver and 11 bronze, while Jasper Williams High School is leading the Girls Division with 18 gold, 10 silver and 6 bronze.
