Fiji Airways Mens 7s team captain Jerry Tuwai is relishing his chance to lead the national side into the Oceania 7s tomorrow.

Tuwai who is among the three players that have been nominated for the World Rugby Men’s 7's Player of the Year award is looking forward to playing in front of his home crowd.

Last season Tuwai was one of Fiji’s consistent performers where he scored 27 tries.

He believes the national side has a lot of experience ahead of next season.

Meanwhile, Minister for Youth and Sports Laisenia Tuitubou officially welcomed all the teams that will be participating at the Oceania 7s, last night.

Tuitubou believes this will boost Fiji’s bid to host a leg of the World Sevens Series in 2020.

Fiji's first game will be against New Caledonia at 4.40pm tomorrow while their second game is against American Samoa at 7.40pm.

The Cup quarters start at 11am Saturday, the semis start at 3pm while the Cup final is at 6.46pm Saturday.

The Fijiana will play their first game against Samoa at 11.40am tomorrow.

The Oceania 7s will be held tomorrow and Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.
