With one day left to the Coca Cola Games, Natabua High School sprinter Shane Tuvusa will be aiming to win his second Blue Ribbon event.

Tuvusa who won 3 gold medals last year, continues to work on his fitness after the Lautoka Zone and believes he will be ready this weekend.

His biggest threat will come from Tony Lemeki of Marist Brothers High School, Malasebe Tuvusa of Suva Grammar School and Timoci Bolakoro of Queen Victoria School.

Looking at their 100 metres times, Tuvusa has the fastest time of 10.7 seconds, Lemeki is the second favorite with the time of 10.86 seconds, Malasebe Tuvusa clocked 10.89 seconds while Bolakoro has a time of 11.35 seconds.

After finishing second last year, Lemeki says his preparations is important as he aims to win gold this year.

Meanwhile, Malasebe and Shane Tuvusa are expected to participate again in the 4x400m relay.

The Senior Boys 100m record still stands at 10.43 seconds which was set by Banuve Tabakaucoro in 2011.

The Coca Cola Games will be held this Thursday to Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.

Natabua High School and Adi Cakobau School are the defending boys and girls division champions respectively.
