Tuqovu to debut for Fiji Warriors when they face Junior Japan today

Veresa Tuqovu has been named to debut for the Swire Shipping Fijian Warriors side that will be taking on Junior Japan today.

The 19-year-old turned down an offer from the Canberra Raiders development squad to pursue rugby in Fiji.

Coach Senirusi Seruvakula says Tuqovu has shown a lot of talent during the U20 scrimmage session in the last 2 weeks.

The Fijian Warriors play Junior Japan at 5pm today at ANZ Stadium.

Tonga A meets Samoa A in the opening match at 2.30pm.
