Ratu Kadavulevu School sprinter Sailosi Tubuilagi will be one of the top favorites in the Blue Ribbon event at this year’s Coca Cola Games.
Tubuilagi won the RKS senior boys 100 metres final and also claimed the 200 metres and the 4x400 meters relay
Tubuilagi’s three gold medals have helped his Ma’afu House to win the RKS inter house today with 25 gold, 10 silver and 11 bronze.
Sukuna House finished second with 11 gold, 22 silver and 11 bronze, Cakau House finished in third place with 8 gold, 11 silver and 13 bronze while last year’s champion, Degei House finished last with 7 gold, 8 silver and 16 bronze.
RKS Media Liaison Officer Peni Tirikula confirms that some of their top athletes who will be participating again this year are 400 metres specialists Kameli Sauduadua and Karalo Dalikula, Head Boy Josua Raivanua who will be running in the 200 meters and Viliame Salusalu is the long distance runner.
RKS finished third in the Coke Games last year with 6 gold, 6 silver and 10 bronze.
Meanwhile, the Tailevu Zone will be held on the 22nd of March while the Coca Cola Games will be held from the 20th to the 22nd of April at the ANZ Stadium.
