Gold Coast Titans coach Neil Henry wants to remain at the club beyond this season denying there is a feud with star full‑back Jarryd Hayne.
Titans board members and the chief executive met with Henry and Hayne for a three‑hour crisis meeting yesterday and an outcome has not been publicly reported.
The crisis meeting came after Hayne declared he would leave the club if the coach wanted him gone, despite signing a 1.2 million Australian dollars contract to play in 2018.
Henry said there is speculation so we will find out in due course whether or not that is true.
Some media reports claim the club has already decided to sack Henry.
Hayne is likely to miss this week’s match against the Eels due to injury.
The match will kick off at 9.50pm Thursday.
